Hello, I want replace door seals on my refrigerator freezer model brand Indesit CG 1385 W U.S.. I found references on the net joints but they are glued or clipped? If they are stuck it is doable, but if they are clipped how shall you one? Thanks for your help
GOOD EVENING all depends on the joint model: 1/Joint "sole": This seal consists of a flat magnet , a bellows and a special profile for fixing the door-cons. The flat bottom, said flange is slipped behind the door-cons. The screws attaching the door-cons across the sole joint. 2/LE "joint heel": This type of joint differs from the previous profile shaped heel of the party providing the fixation.Le bead heel stuck in the trough of the cons-porte.Les screws of the door-cons do not break the seal. To disassemble the joint, simply release the screws. 3/The joint box: In this joint model, the screws are not used to maintain the magnetic seal.
The bottom part is shaped like an arrow and it fits into the groove provided for this purpose in the cons-porte.Ce type of seal is not wide spread: it is too bad because the alternative is more facile.Cordialement Jean-Paul
