First of all, GOOD EVENING,

There is no particular problem, placing a new floor on the original, if the carriers are healthy. A variety of new materials or products, allows this, without setting the new floor (Float). First, remove the carpet and the largest of the glue, glue if there a. Then make a bundle self-leveling screed to former prosecutors. Place one or two layers of wood wool, or equivalent, sound insulation. Ask your new floor.
Good luck
