is my problem, I have an old Transit 1992, diesel engine exchange standart 2 years ago, it last roadworthiness I learned that the rear brakes are not balanced, the mechanic tells me that it is the oil that pours deck on the rear brakes, and it's going to be expensive. Increasingly, it's the holidays, and I must wait until September!
off, I'm I shows to do, and my old Ford is essential..
so here's my question:
1/how to change or renew the oil bridge, to avoid the worst, in the meantime, if I can not find the solution for brakes,
2/is it possible without special equipment to do the repair myself? I hear about seal. and change the brakes because of the oil.
thank you in advance !

I do not see too much oil seal what you were talking.

To the rear brake lining, it may be true that he will have to change:
dint of braking with brake fluid everywhere, the liquid enters the pores of trim and AC "ice".
Some fun to catch up by sanding and grooving, to see.

For the oil bridge, we will have to level but first solve the leakage problem.
If the leak just the drain plug then a few leg will be joined the case or change the copper seal (I believe) with a new purchase in store.
If that is all the jar, so do the leaking drain, remove the jar (single) and a little paw gasket and reassemble.

For it is oil or oil 90W100 something like that in any case high numbers, it is oil and box bridge, it is in the business.

Here, start by setting the leak and test, maybe he will not be necessary to change the brakes.
Hoping you out.
