We want to construct a bathroom in a room on the north and humid. There is already insulation glued to the walls and plasterboard plate 5cm extruded polystyrene.
This isolation seems to us inadequate. We therefore wish to add wool glued on a sheet of plasterboard of 5 cm as well.
Can you paste it directly over the old? Does this supplement will be sufficient? We have space in the room we can put thicker.
We'll add a CMV in the room to control humidity.
Thanks in advance.
1..: Hi,

If the first partition plasterboard is healthy you can double as a second layer of insulation with the metal framework, covered with sheets of plasterboard waterproof (green )

Si la première cloison placo est saine vous pouvez la doubler avec une deuxieme couche d'isolant avec l'ossature métallique, recouverte par des plaques de placoplatre hydrofuge (vertes)
