Hello everyone. I have a ceramic hob brand Dietrich mixed model W9-3539F (2 + 2 inductions gas) having worked for 10 years, who apparently dropped it. In use we heard a "mini explosion" has led to a power outage.
I wanted your opinion on the interest of a remedy for this type of failure compared with a replacement plate.
Thanks for your advice

HELLO
This makes me think of calling on your plate:
A capacitor
chemical to explode: The check its replacement can be done by yourself if you have a soldering iron, a tin can and a desoldering braid, attention to wound + terminal and - Observe the polarity, it is circular, its value is written is his body. If your capacitor is a 100 microfarad 25 volts (105 degrees) original reference. you can be replaced by a 100 microfarad 25 volts (125 degrees).
