My hard drive becomes full.. it is a single partition (C) + 1 small (D) for the Safeguarding of systè would like the format but the command does not pass because my C partition contains the operating system windows vista.
I also tried to do it manually in command prompt (C format), the response to this command is that I do not have sufficient permission to perform this command.

Is there a way around this line of defense Either is still reassuring.

I would actually format my whole hard drive to create another partition.etc

I also try to reinstall vista using the CD provided by DELL, but all of my files are still stored in the hard drive!

Thanks for your answers and your devotion!

Hello Lamri.
It So protection..
Check Dell still in the registry that you own the rights
Start => Run and type: regedit => OK

Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SOFTWARE Microsoft Windows CurrentVersion Policies System => Right there "FilterAdministratorToken" verify that it is "0" Otherwise, put it.

Try to format and partition with the tools of Ultimate Boot
