here's the problem:
at the origin, javais installed linux/ubuntu with windows XP so 2 bones on a microphone, I used the tutorial: lesiteduzero: the installation s is very well, by cons when choosing between ubuntu and ws, the keyboard becomes inactive (no keys not working notably the down arrow that mauri used to make the choice for windows).

A few days ago, I have decided to install windows xp on my pc only:
I used to delete multiple partitions "Gparted" now I still have 2 partitions of Linux that I can still possibly modify or delete:
dev/sda and dev/sda1
My problem: The
xp cd restoration nest not supported during boot////The system will boot on the CD and the following message appears:

boot from cd error: no such
partition grub rescue> _ the cursor remains in that position (the keypad is locked) so I think my keyboard is not recognized. (Jai also tried different xp cd ws: Windows CD Classical, CD resettlement original CD etched., A CD to restore my old xp micro jai but still the same message)

I even tried a boot disk which is what I gathered:
A: > keyb fr,, KEYBRD2.SYS

Invalid keyboard code spƩcifiƩ
A: > _ (the keyboard is not recognized, no button works)
By pressing the esc jai page: to enter boot menu (again, my keyboard is not recognized)

Pressing del jai page: to enter setup (menu display Phoenix - AwardBIOS CMOS Setup Utility (JHA recognition and keyboard) and ability to navigate within the menu.
Menu Display: Phoenix - AwardBIOS CMOS Setup Utility

FYI: When I select Advanced BIOS Features I
1 - Removable Device Priority
2 - Hard disk boot priority

3 - cd-rom boot priority
a floppy disk
ch0 2. M: Maxtor 6B200P0; ch1 M.: WDC WD400BB-00AUA1; Bootable Add-in Cards
Ch0 3 S: HL-DT-ROM STDVD GDR816; S. Ch1: _NEC DVD_RW ND-3520A

My question: Is it possible to format the HDD from the bios? if so how, but please with detailed information (ignorance of langlais)? or are there other solutions ?
