Hello
I have an old dresser in dark wood that I would be renovated.
Should the sand layer or sub enough? What brand to use?
I want it to be creamy with fine golden veins.
how to get those ribs?
Thanks in advance for your help

hello

décirez, strip your furniture to replace the state gross. If it is varnished or waxed, the sand, using sandpaper coarse, even if the electric sander is voluminous. If it is painted, a simple sanding will not be enough: you must have it décaper.Un cleaner for wood will do.
Spend two coats of base paint and white lead. This will whiten and give an aged look to your meubles.Les pigments will highlight the wood grain, by blanching. White lead can also be tinted, but it does not fit all types of wood, especially if the wood is exotic species.
