Hi to all. I have an external hard disk after you connect to a computer all the files contained were transformed into shortcut and when I try to open it sends a message like "location not found" though I scanned with the avas antivirus but its not detecting any virus. I do not know what to do if I format I lose my data. Help me

Hello
IL chances are that Benet am right. You do this on hard disk folder shortcuts.
Right click on the shortcut and then => properties and look at the reference location to which this shortcut.
