Good evening to you all,

I have a question that concerns me.
I make a lintel of 1.46 m, cased with concrete block "U" (20 cm is only 14 cm of concrete in the hollow of papaing) and scrapped with a frame diameter of 4 chains 10.
This lintels he is not too weak to bear knowing that the chaining and the edge of the frame (+ batten roofing tile)?
Knowing that chaining is located just above the lintel , is it necessary that I scrap as a second lintel?

Thanks in advance

Hello,

the chaining must be feraglio along its entire length although there is a header just below

Yes, I had planned to put a frame triangle (3 irons 10) in Chaining all but if the header seems too low I could maybe put a square frame of 10 * 10 above the lintel and the cross on each side with the triangle. knowing that chaining is made of cinder block "U" 25 cm
