How to test the stator and rotor to a generator electrical power generator ?

Each elements, rotor and stator consists of a coil. To see if these are still good, it takes using a multimeter position ohmmeter, test each start winding and verify continuity. If the device shows no value, is that the coil is cut into a place, it will be difficult to find, and thus prevented the flow of electric current. measure has hommetre will tell if the coil is not cut (extremely rare) By cons, he will not say if the winding is short circuited! Note that if there is only one turn short-circuited the generator does not work and the "resistance" will be measured Qusi identical to that of a coil sound. to check a coil must inject a AC (sinusoidal) and look for example at the oscilloscope if our sine wave is always integrated

hello then the diode bridge are changed for the second one was melted I also changes preventive and varistor like I'll look at what gives her thank you anyway

Between us a diode bridge blown. yes a diode bridge MELT! something else had to suffer much. He "FRIED" he understood everything

Absolutely my dear motorolla.
The goal is not to get lost in words or techniques, but to solve everyday problems.. :-) Personally I will not of tilt for two reasons: I n 't have, and I do not use it :-)
