I have an issue with my Toshiba A205.
When I plug in my power my computer does nothing to the screen. when I unplug the power it starts.
after startup and display of icons, when I connect the power again my computer crashes, I can not work, everything is blocked, I am obliged to restart the machine.

if you can help me solve my problem, I'll be very grateful. thank you

First, check the status of "Microsoft AC Adapter" in Control Panel => System => Device Manager
power management, you're normal use, energy saving or high performance ?.
long has this concern, following an intervention special? If you have a little more detail.

Thanks Alan. my problem started about two months ago.
I review all modes of the charger but the problem remains.
this time I'm in still active and I ' happens to be loaded at least 10 minutes. after this time everything stops. Besides this mode all the other models, such as laptop, maximum, minimum nothing on. I had thought was a virus, but nothing, I've formatted my PC twice, but nothing, Always the same result. I change the charger tjrs the same result.

I do not understand the problem happens to me Alane

I do not know much about PC (I'ma Mac), but

1) problem of power management by software: reinstall the system.

2) hs motherboard (since you changed the power supply)

You have reinstalled twice your bones, no virus, you've changed the power power.
By cons you have not answered check the status of Microsoft AC Adapter Control Panel => System => Manager Device => Batteries => Microsoft AC Adapter => nothing "wrong? The supply voltage is normal?
But as Robin said, there are strong presumption that this is a motherboard issue, power connector?
The problem is it appears after installation of equipment
