Hello
Although the 1.5 mm ² is more than enough for a heater of 3000W and like a bathroom in general a 1000W is more than enough so the 1.5 mm ² is widely well-sized!
must dedicate a line to the heater only !

Goodnight,

To complement the previous answers, if you put the 1.5 mm2 your line should be protected by a branch circuit breaker of 10 A max. If your line is 2.5 mm2 your branch circuit breaker should be 20 A max.

The standard allows for protection of a line 1.5 mm ² with a 16A breaker for a total power of 3500W !!!

Goodnight

To clarify things:
- A3 before the amendment applies to 31/07/2010, the standard was limited to 2250W with a CB 10A max heating circuits in 1.5 ²
- from A3 amendment, the standard allows 3500W with 16A circuit breaker max heating circuits in 1.5 ²
