Hello,

I did my electrical box to my home (total renovation). I have 4 breakers 40A (Vigi 30mA) to feed from my main switch 500mA.
Which section should I feed these breakers please? 6mm ²? Or more?

Thanks for your help

Good evening,

We also know the distance between your breaker General and the dispatcher at the table entry and power for your subscription.

Good evening

To synthesize what has been said above, there are many sections of two different cable may be used:

The section between the terminals of the downstream circuit breaker connection ERDF and the terminal board main distribution depending on the type of DB:
- DB 15/45A: 10 to 22m ² max
- DB 30/60A: 16 to 27m ² max

- DB 60/90A: 25 to 28m ² max

The section between the terminals of the main patch panel and switches Differentials 30mA (not circuit breakers as told by sisseron10)
- 10 ² for an ID 40A
- 16 ² for an ID 63A (not used in the case of sisseron10)
The same section should be used to connect terminals combs if IDs are not paintable.
