HowToDo Question : Why does my dryer burns FAR S1554 does the laundry ?
Posted: 02 Dec 2010 20:09
I asking you because I have a problem with my dryer FAR model S1554. When I put my dryer on, it warms up constantly.. After 20 minutes, the machine is burning and the smell of "burnt" (the machine I guess) is obtained. All air circuit is clean because I recently changed the turbine (broken due to a foreign body). I "tested" the 3 thermostats, 3 open but I can not say exact temperature. One thing to note, resistance (several springs) is only half (only the lower part). A spring was cut but I "glued" using tweezers so normally the contact is successful. So do you think it can come either a thermostat or disrupt the resistance half-HS?? Note, Normal or Delicate no change. I am well equipped with a thermometer probe qu'infrarouge but I'm not sure where to take my temperature.. Thanks in advance for all your help

It is possible that resistance in repairing, you have increased its power in the shortcut. It is better to replace it with a new, resistance to dry clothes are generally affordable

Fort is likely that resistance was "wanton" However, the problem was also exists when two springs were not connected .. And then another question comes into my head: even if a resistance value was changed, what are the thermostats? thank you, kindly

hello, you should know that a tumble dryer is very dangerous.. it can catch fire.. I already had the case. so we do not tinker resistance. it changes! Then you have on your clothes dryer that cuts a 3 thermostats at 70 ° C another at 120 ° C and 135 ° C can be reset. if they are not doing their job, they should be changed and the strength I recall for your safety and others around you !!!
