Posted: 03 Dec 2010 13:14
a combi fridge/freezer Brandt Spheris RC 355. L device is down: more cold or in the fridge or in the freezer. I unplugged the unit one and plugging it back on the field he started running (engine noise, it heats and fridge and freezer behind that do well in the cold again). But after some hours it stopped and stopped working again. redébranché the camera and I have reconnected and it departed idem but after a while it falls down. Is it thermostat that is dead? What do you think? Thanks for your help

probe your fridge is caught in the ice, leave the refrigerator unplugged at least 24 hours, 48 is better. If again after some days, it will check the defrost system (probe/resistance )

Could you tell me where the probe ?

hello, first put the thermostat on 3 this is quite enough and you can change the thermostat if your unit does not start !!

When I plug the fridge is working again but after an hour it stops and does deliver more road. I must unplugged it wait an hour "rest" and if I reconnect after he leaves but crashes after 1 hour. J 've always the same failure. Where did it come ?
